How does having a home EV charger change your daily routine?

EV charger installation means fitting a dedicated charge point to your home, wired directly to your mains electricity supply. Unlike a three-pin plug adaptor, a dedicated 7kW home charger adds around 30 miles of range per hour, enough to fully charge most electric cars overnight.

A 7kW home charger charges your car overnight, every night. No queuing, no adaptor cables, no expensive rapid charger costs. We install NAPIT-certified EV chargers across the Chilterns from £899. Eligible renters and flat owners pay from £399 after the EV chargepoint grant — we handle the paperwork.

  • NAPIT-certified installation: Part P compliant
  • EV chargepoint grant processing included (eligible renters and flat owners)
  • In-person survey before any work is agreed
  • From £899 installed (from £399 with EV chargepoint grant)

How can solar panels reduce your electricity bills?

Solar panel installation means fitting photovoltaic panels to your roof that convert sunlight into usable electricity for your home. Solar PV systems help reduce reliance on grid electricity and lower long-term energy costs.

A well-designed solar system cuts most Chilterns household electricity bills by 40 to 60 percent. We design every system for your specific roof orientation, your actual usage, and your budget. From £4,995 installed (4kWp system). No hard sell, no generic online quotes.

  • Smart Export Guarantee eligible installation
  • In-person roof survey and honest yield estimates
  • Battery-ready inverter options available
  • From £4,995 installed (4kWp system)

How does home battery storage save you money?

Home battery storage means adding a battery system that stores electricity for use later in the day when energy demand and electricity prices are typically higher. Battery systems can charge from solar panels or cheaper overnight electricity tariffs.

Charge your battery on cheap overnight tariffs and use it during peak hours. If you already have solar, a battery means the electricity you generate at noon is available when you need it at 7pm. We size the right battery for your actual usage at a real in-person survey. From £3,495 installed.

  • Compatible with most existing solar inverters
  • Charge on Octopus Go and similar overnight tariffs
  • Typical savings: £300 to £600 per year
  • From £3,495 installed (5 to 7kWh system)

Why choose an air source heat pump over a gas boiler?

An air source heat pump is a low-carbon heating system that extracts heat from the outside air and transfers it into your home for heating and hot water. Heat pumps are designed to replace traditional gas or oil boilers with a more energy-efficient alternative.

An air source heat pump delivers 3 to 4 units of heat for every unit of electricity consumed. For eligible properties, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme covers £7,500 off the installation cost. We check suitability honestly at the survey and tell you upfront if it is not right for your property. From £10,495 installed.

  • Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant: £7,500 off
  • Honest suitability assessment at every survey
  • BUS grant of £7,500 handled by us
  • From £10,495 installed (from £2,995 with BUS grant)

Our Qualifications & Approved Charging Partners

What makes us different from the national installers?

National companies make you upload photos, measure your own cable runs, and assess your own fuseboard. When something goes wrong post-install, you wait weeks. We work differently.

We come to you

Our engineer visits your property before any work is agreed. Real survey, real quote, fixed price on the day.

NAPIT-qualified, not a call centre

When you call 01494 977298, you speak to us, not a booking agent. Our engineer carries out the survey and the installation.

Fixed prices, no surprises

What we quote is what you pay. If anything changes (such as a consumer unit needing work), we tell you before we start, not after.

6-month post-install support

If anything is not right after installation, call us. We come back within days. Being local is the whole point.

What do homeowners ask about home energy installations?

Straight answers to the questions we get most often.

Yes. Every quote starts with a real site survey. We visit your property, assess the job properly, and give you a fixed price on the day. We never send you a form to fill in yourself.
Yes. Our lead engineer is NAPIT-registered. All electrical installations are Part P compliant and certificated. This is required for EV charger installation under the OZEV grant.
We cover 51 towns across the Chilterns including Amersham, Chesham, Great Missenden, Wendover, Princes Risborough, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Marlow, Henley-on-Thames, and surrounding villages. Not sure if we cover you? Call 01494 977298 and we will check.
Yes. We install all four services: EV chargers, solar panels, battery storage, and heat pumps. We can combine installations to reduce survey and scaffolding costs where it makes sense. Speak to us about what you are planning.
The EV chargepoint grant covers up to £500 (75% of cost) for eligible renters and flat owners installing a home EV charger. The Boiler Upgrade Scheme provides £7,500 off a heat pump installation. The Smart Export Guarantee pays you for surplus solar electricity. We handle the grant applications for you.
Most installations cost between £899 and £1,200 all in, depending on cable run length and whether your consumer unit needs any work. Eligible renters and flat owners pay from £399 after the EV chargepoint grant. We agree a fixed price at the site survey before any work starts.
For a standard 7kW single-phase charger, DNO approval is not required in most cases. If your property has grid constraints or you want a three-phase supply, we carry out the DNO notification as part of the installation at no extra charge.
Not always. Most modern consumer units can support a 7kW charger without any work. If yours needs upgrading because it is an older fuse wire board, we identify this at the survey and include the cost in your fixed quote. There are no surprise extras once work has started.
It starts with a free in-person site survey. Our engineer checks your consumer unit, identifies the cable route, and confirms the charger position with you. You get a fixed price on the day. If you go ahead, installation takes a single day visit. Your NAPIT Part P certificate arrives within five working days.
We aim to carry out site surveys within 5 to 10 working days of your enquiry. For urgent situations, call us on 01494 977298 and we will do our best to accommodate you sooner.
