What Challenges Did the Installation Present?

This was far from a standard installation. The property featured a garden with four different levels, and the chosen charger location was 42 metres from the main electrical supply. Our team needed to dig multiple trenches, run SWA armoured cable, and navigate around an existing garage. We had to drill through the garage, creating a complex cable route that would provide both electrical supply and internet connectivity.

How Did We Solve the Wi-Fi Coverage Problem?

With no existing internet coverage in the garden, we developed a clever solution. We ran a separate cable alongside the power cable and installed a wireless access point using a POE (Power over Ethernet) connection. This meant the homeowner not only got their desired EV charger but also gained Wi-Fi coverage throughout the entire garden.
