We dug down carefully, routing the cable beneath the ground until we hit clay, creating a 35-metre run from the meter cupboard to the carport.

How Did We Manage the Electrical Infrastructure?

We installed a dedicated EV consumer unit with surge protection, working closely with the homeowner's energy company to fit a double-pole isolator. This ensured a safe, isolated electrical supply specifically for the EV charger. The connection was made directly into the hand blocks, providing a clean and reliable charging setup.
