We recently installed a Hypervolt Home 3 Pro EV charger at a property in Amersham, HP6 6EP. Why did this Amersham homeowner need a longer cable run?

We liaised directly with the energy provider on behalf of the homeowner. UK Power Networks is the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) for the Chilterns area, and HP postcodes are seeing increased demand from EV charger installations. The provider fitted the double pole light before we arrived to complete the charger installation. This meant the homeowner didn't have to chase anyone or manage multiple appointments — we handled the coordination.

How long did the Hypervolt Home 3 Pro installation take?

Our electrician mounted the charger on the driveway wall, ran the 7.5 metre cable from the meter cupboard, connected it to the double pole light, and tested everything to make sure it was working safely.
